The Factors of Risk and Resiliency for Family of Ex-offenders

Abstract
This study focused on the conflict and resiliency factors for family of ex-offenders. For this research, seven ex-offenders and nine wives of the ex-offenders were interviewed on their experience after released from prison, and their responses were analyzed through CQR(Consensual Qualitative Research). The conflict factors were categorized into 2 domains: Internal factors, External factors. These categories were divided to 7 sub-domains in internal factors and 6 sub-domains in external factors. The resiliency factors were categorized into 2 domains: Social factors, Marital relationship factors. These categories were again divided to 6 and 10 sub-domains in each. Based on the results of this study, We suggest future directions for policies and programs that would support psychological rehabilitation and social reintegration for ex-offenders and their family.
